The Bow That Started It All

Flashback to July 2018. I realized while planning decor that I did not have a bow for Addie’s first birthday. How was this possible?! I’d only dreamed of her my whole life! It was only weeks away and although we already made her the perfect outfit I didn’t have a bow to match. Her birthday theme was mermaid. I was having a terrible time trying to find the perfect bow that met all the needs that a special bow does. I just couldn’t find a bow at a price point that seemed reasonable, nor could I find one that perfectly matched the color pallet of the theme. I decided if I couldn’t find one, we would just make one. The day of the party arrived and our pretty little Adeline looked beautiful in her custom outfit and bow. As all proud mommas do, I posted a ton of pictures of her first birthday on social media. EVERYONE wanted to know where I got her bow and outfit. We realized quickly how many other mommas struggled to find custom and cute, high quality bows and accessories at an affordable price point. Friend and family requests started pouring in for trendy pieces that fit their babes occasions. We began perfecting our process and obsessing over making the best quality products that made their special occasions even more meaningful. Who knew that my babes first birthday bow would turn into a passion to create so much more! ❤️-Kelly

In October 2018, I was in my second trimester pregnant with Lillian. By this point we had perfected the bow making process and were selling our bows and accessories to local neighbors and friends. Everytime I dreamed of Lillian I always thought of her colors being light pink, grey and white. I often would wear these colors to feel closer to her. Kelly and I knew we needed to make a bow with these colors and after finding the perfect colors and bow style we made Lillian a custom “coming home bow”. I made sure to pack it in my hospital bag along with all the other essentials so that little Lillian would wear it on her way home. We even had professional pictures done with this bow on because it was so meaningful to me. I still treasure that bow and will hold onto it for years to come. We realized that these moments were times that mommas cherish and having a custom bow makes it that much more special. ❤️-Micaila
