How to Survive the, “My Child Won’t Wear a Bow” Phase.
We get comments all the time, “I LOVE your bows, but my child won’t keep a bow on their head”. Here are our tried and true tips and tricks for keeping that bow on that babe.
Praise
Although this may seem silly when Addie went through this stage we would refer to her bows as “Pretties” and would give her lots of compliments and praise when she had the “Pretty” on her head. Kids love praise and attention so just shower them when the bow is on their head.
2. Consistency
Even if your child only wears the bow for 2 minutes a day. Put it on every time they get dressed. (And don't forget to snap that picture quick).
3. Skip the bigger bows and try a smaller bow
Sometimes if they can see it on their head they get curious and pull it off right away. So try a smaller size like our small kate size bow on nylon for a little while.
4. If all else fails this phase will be short.
Don’t miss out of a bow that you love because your babe wont keep it on today. They always come around to wearing bows again and you will have a collection of bows ready to wear!
